About Asni
I am a hardworking and passionate graduate-entry medical student with a genuine love for learning and teaching. My own academic journey has not always been straightforward, and I have experienced first-hand how challenging studying can feel when you haven’t yet found an approach that works for you. Over the years, I have developed study techniques that have transformed the way I learn, and I would love to pass these on to other students.
I believe that academic success isn’t about being naturally perfect at everything, but about finding the right methods, developing confidence and being willing to keep improving. This is something I try to instil in my students alongside teaching Biology and English. I want my students to feel that struggling with something doesn’t mean they aren’t capable — sometimes they simply need it explained differently.
I am patient, encouraging and genuinely invested in seeing my students progress, both academically and in their confidence as learners.

Having been a student for many years and studied at different academic levels, I understand how challenging learning can sometimes feel. That’s why I make it my priority to first understand each student’s individual learning style, current skill level and areas they would like to improve, before tailoring my lessons to them.
Whether I am teaching Biology or English, I aim to break down difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps and create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I adapt my teaching depending on the student, whether they need help building their foundational understanding, improving their confidence, developing exam technique or working towards higher grades.
My lessons are interactive and student-focused, and where appropriate, we will work through practice questions and exam-style questions together so that students not only understand the content, but also know how to apply their knowledge effectively.
