About James
I have over 20 years of professional experience, all of which entails mentoring fellow and junior colleagues. I have worked as a TA at every college and university that I have attended. It is a rare gift to be present when a difficult concept suddenly "clicks" for an individual. There is a very specific sense of pride one gets after having figured something out.

Everyone has their own way of learning. Teaching is about unlocking those ways and connecting a student to the subject. That connection is built by relating the theoretical foundation of a subject to a student's interests and expertise. I typically teach adults. I have worked as a TA in multiple universities. I have taught seminars and custom courses at colleges and to private groups. Lessons are generally between 30 minutes and 1 hour depending on the subject.
