About Jady

Hello! I am a bilingual tutor studying a Master of Dietetics at Monash University, with a strong academic background and a passion for education. I have several years of experience tutoring primary and secondary students, helping them build confidence, improve their academic performance, and develop effective study habits.

As a native Cantonese speaker and fluent in Mandarin and English, I am able to support students from diverse backgrounds and tailor my teaching to suit individual learning needs. I am patient, friendly, and committed to creating a supportive and structured learning environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and grow.

I take pride in being organized and reliable, and I maintain clear communication with both students and parents to ensure progress and accountability. My goal is not only to help students achieve strong results, but also to foster long-term confidence and interest in learning Chinese or English.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is student-centered, supportive, and engaging. I tailor each lesson to the student’s level, learning style, and school requirements, ensuring steady progress while building confidence in using Chinese.

I use a combination of techniques including interactive speaking practice, structured grammar explanation, vocabulary building, and reading comprehension. I incorporate engaging activities and repetition to reinforce learning, and focus on exam strategies, writing skills, and oral preparation. I also provide personalized notes and practice materials to support revision outside of class.

A typical lesson runs for 60-75 minutes, longer sessions can be arranged depending on the student’s needs. Lessons usually include a review of previous content, introduction of new material, guided practice, and feedback.

I am a student of Master of Dietetics at Monash University with extensive tutoring experience working with primary and secondary students. I have supported students with homework, exam preparation, and personalized study plans, while maintaining regular communication with parents.

My lessons are suitable for students ranging from kindergarten to university levels, including beginners and those looking to improve their academic performance or conversational skills in Mandarin/Cantonese.
