About Anshu

My name is Anshu Aggarwal, and I am currently a Master's student in Mechanical Engineering at UNSW, with a background in engineering and hands-on research from both IIT Ropar and industry internships. Teaching and tutoring are close to my heart because I believe learning is not just about textbooks—it’s about unlocking curiosity and confidence in each student. I love helping students unravel challenging math, physics, and chemistry concepts, turning those moments of confusion into real understanding and enjoyment. My approach focuses on building strong foundations, making lessons practical and interactive, and tailoring each session to suit every student's pace and interests. I want to teach because I truly enjoy sharing knowledge, sparking new ideas, and seeing students thrive—helping them gain skills that last far beyond the classroom.

About the lesson

As a math, physics, and chemistry tutor, I combine a deep passion for conceptual clarity with a hands-on, curiosity-driven approach. My sessions reflect a love for guiding students to those “aha!” moments—where tough ideas transform into everyday sense through discussion, experimentation, and real-world examples.

My teaching method relies on breaking down complex concepts into bite-sized pieces, using visual aids, problem-solving sessions, and relatable analogies. Lessons typically run for one hour and are highly interactive, mixing theory with practical demonstration, tailored quizzes, and collaborative exercises.

Having studied Mechanical Engineering at IIT Ropar and now as a Master’s student at UNSW, I bring both depth and breadth from my academic journey along with experience mentoring high school and university students for success. I have coached students on everything from basic math tricks to advanced fluid mechanics, adapting my style for diverse learning needs and backgrounds.

My lessons suit high-school and university students, ages 14 and up, especially those seeking to build solid foundations while unlocking genuine interest in STEM subjects. I thrive on making every session memorable and meaningful, championing active participation and creative thinking.
