Based on my experience during my learning, one thing I have noticed is that if someone learns the basic concept related to any topic then they can solve any problem related to it but most of the students try to learn the patterns of the problem without clearing their basic concepts of the topic which becomes a problem in their further studies.
I always try to teach all the concepts of the topic and clear those to my students so that they can tackle any problem related to that topic instead of memorising the patterns of the problem.
