About Mariza
I taught Life science and Maths for 30 years and tutor Maths students for the past 4 years at home. During lockdown I also taught a few students on Zoom. I love teaching and enjoy all the positive feedback that I get from my students and parents.
I have a B.Sc hons degree and a diploma in higher education.

I first try to asses students to determine what their current knowledge of a specific topic is and link it to the new content. I am able to adjust teaching techniques to meet the specific learning style of the student. At the end of the lesson I will asses the student again to make sure the work was understood and mastered.
I teach Maths students from grade 7 - 10 in English or Afrikaans.
