About Meghna

Hi! I’m Meghna Sampa — a professional vocalist, songwriter, and performer with years of real-world experience both on stage and in the studio. I’ve been mentored by Grammy-nominated producers, collaborated with award-winning songwriters, and trained under top vocal coaches in Los Angeles. As a tutor, I bring that same level of passion, dedication, and industry knowledge into every lesson. Whether I’m working with a complete beginner or a young performer preparing for an audition, my goal is always the same: to help students feel confident, capable, and excited to grow. I understand the nerves, the challenges, and the pressure — and I know how to guide students through all of it with encouragement, clear technique, and real tools that work. Every student has something special, and I’m here to help them find it, shape it, and share it with the world — all while having fun and building healthy habits that last a lifetime.

About the lesson

As a tutor, my goal is to help young singers not just learn how to sing — but to love their voice, trust their creativity, and feel confident performing. My teaching style is upbeat, patient, and personalized. I’ve worked with kids of all ages, and I know that every student learns differently — so I always meet them where they are, whether they’re complete beginners or already performing.

I combine foundational vocal technique (breath support, tone placement, pitch accuracy) with real-world skills like performance confidence, emotional connection to lyrics, and healthy vocal habits. I also include ear training and warmups that are fun, effective, and easy to practice at home.

I draw from my own experience as a professional singer-songwriter and performer, so my students also get insight into the music industry, songwriting, and what it’s like to perform live.

I’m a young artist myself, which means I connect easily with kids and teens — I know what it’s like to be nervous or unsure, and I know how to help students grow without pressure. I’ve studied with top coaches, performed in professional settings, and write original music — so I bring real-world knowledge in a way that’s fun, inspiring, and age-appropriate.

Warm-up & Technique: Breathing exercises, vocal warmups, and targeted drills

Song Work: Choose a song the student loves (or one that challenges them!)

Interpretation & Performance: We break down lyrics, build storytelling skills, and boost confidence

Feedback & Practice Tips: I always send simple at-home practice goals to keep progress going
