About Beatrice

Some little girls dream of becoming presidents, astronauts, or Michelin-starred chefs. At age 11, I realized I wanted to be a polyglot when I grew up!

My family in Italy has modest beginnings but a forward-looking vision. Thanks to an international organization for the promotion of tolerance and cooperation, growing up I was lucky enough to spend a few months with other kids in countries like Japan, Sweden, Austria and Belgium, honing my knowledge of world languages and customs.

After five years of International High School in Florence, and a semester spent abroad, I graduated with honors and a double Baccalaureate, which allowed me to continue studying in France.

The flexibility of the French school system gave me the opportunity to experience courses at four prestigious universities (including an Erasmus in Spain), the last of which were Sorbonne Nouvelle and Sorbonne Pantheon in Paris, where I earned my Master's degree in Political Science with a specialization in Development and Humanitarian Aid. During these years I have always given private lessons to adult students.

️My career in the world of humanitarian aid, engaged in supporting refugee populations in Italy, France, and Greece from 2015 to 2020, has led me to leverage my language skills for advocacy and diplomacy. At the same time, between 2017 and 2019, I also taught elementary school children with learning challenges (ADHD, dyslexia) at the École Française in Rome.

Today, I work as a news analyst for a major company and have flexible hours. I continue to learn and teach languages, constantly informing myself about new educational methods and content. Working on communication, I love producing training content that keeps the process fun and easy!

About the lesson

Why choose me as your language tutor?

A native speaker fluent in French, English, Italian and Spanish, I use each of these everyday, both in my professional and family life. Passionate about language learning, like you, I am a student: in German, Greek, Portuguese, Catalan... I therefore understand the journey's challenges, but also know how empowering it can be!

As a News Editor monitoring the international press across four languages for a major corporation, I bring global knowledge to our lessons. I've previously worked as a diplomat's Press Officer and Advocacy Coordinator for humanitarian NGOs, always writing, reading, and speaking in public using my language skills.

My academic journey includes a Masters' degree from Sorbonne University and a double Bachelor's degree in Hispanic History, Language, Literature, and Civilizations from Toulouse and Salamanca Universities. In the last decade, I had the chance to live in 10 cities across 6 countries thanks to the languages I know.

Active participation is key to give you confidence! We'll be fostering engagement through discussions, debates, and regular assessments.

Life gets busy and messy: being adaptable to your evolving needs and adjusting the teaching approach as we advance in the language learning journey is my priority. Working remotely, I can offer flexible class schedules to accommodate different lifestyles and learning paces.
