About Tarun
My name is Tarun and I am a Politics and International Relations student at the University of Birmingham. I first came across Sociology at A-Level and loved it, it became my passion! This taught me the function of society, the inequalities between different groups and the evolution of power, which is something we all experience today. I also have completed an intern in Marketing, allowing me to express my creativity. My friends would describe me as a smiley, friendly and considerate person, always thinking about others. I have interests in gaming, social media and meeting with my friends!

Firstly, I teach students through understanding their struggles in specific areas and teach the topics thoroughly till they comprehend the content. A typical lesson consists of going over important sociologists and key ideas, doing practice papers and me teaching how to professionally write an exam answer. I received a B at A-Level Sociology and was top of the class! I helped my friends with content especially because I knew the key areas to prioritise, as sociology has lots of content. My lessons are for A-Level students who feel they may need a boost in their studies. As someone who has received tutoring before, I know you can feel anxious having a tutor but I am a person who wants the best and cares for all my students! I did the AQA spec and for paper 2 (the only paper that people study different topics) I did families and households and beliefs in society but open to teach a topic of your choice!
