About Hester
I have always loved school but I can appreciate how, without the support I was lucky enough to have, it can be viewed as a chore.
I hope that my tutoring provides my clients with the right support, pushing them out of their comfort zones to realise what they can achieve!
I believe that the humanities are overlooked as subjects. They are about far more than grades, and the holistic skills they foster are incredibly important for young people's development.

I curate and adapt my tutoring techniques to suit the needs of each client. Understanding their own unique strengths and weaknesses is pivotal in providing the support necessary for their success.
I provide a safe and supportive environment within which clients feel comfortable to ask questions and make mistakes. Ultimately, they leave my sessions feeling more confident and assured in their own abilities.
I have a 2.1 in Politics, Philosophy and Law from the University of Warwick and achieved A*, A, A in English Literature, Geography and Religion & Philosophy at A-Level.
I tutor English, Philosophy and Geography for GCSE and English and Philosophy up to A-Level.
