About Andrew
I have ten years experience working within the field of politics since completing my Politics Masters - working for Members of the UK and Welsh Parliaments, holding elected office within local government and standing as a candidate for the Welsh Parliament. For the last three years I have worked in human rights research at Swansea University, specialising in the rights of children and young people.
This has given me an excellent academic and practical understanding of politics, public policy, devolution in Wales, and democratic history and theory.

I take a person-centred approach to teaching, providing individualised lesson plans tailored to the strengths, interests, needs and goals of each of my students.
Where possible, I aim to combine theory with practice so that students are able to gain an understanding of how the ideas discussed in sessions are being applied in communities and democratic institutions.
