About Fatima

Hello!

I hope you are well!

My name is Fatima and I offer private tuition for History, Politics and Philosophy A-Levels and English, History, Politics, RE at GCSE level. I operate in both London and Luton however this is subject to my availability. Please contact me for more information on location and travel.

I achieved AAA in History (Edexcel), Government & Politics (Edexcel) and Philosophy (AQA) A-Levels.

I now study Politics and International Relations BSc at University College London (UCL).

During my gap year I worked as an Academic Improvement Mentor in the fields of Politics, History and Psychology at Luton Sixth Form College. My everyday routine consisted of tutoring A-Level students in both one-to-one and group settings.

As well as this, I worked as the Co-ordinator for the Advanced Learning Programme for High Achievers (ALPHA) and therefore have experience with non-academic mentoring. Part of my role as Co-ordinator was to help high achievers hone their interpersonal (soft) skills, confidence and self-belief.

Finally, I also offer guidance with personal statement writing and have conducted several interview practice sessions in preparation for Oxbridge and other university interviews.

About the lesson

Following in depth discussions regarding your interests, goals and skill-set, we will begin the writing workshop.

The aim of our sessions will be to produce an effective writing plan for your personal statement, explore writing methods, produce a completed draft, proofread and ultimately aim for successful applications to your universities of choice!

FIRST 30 MINUTE LESSON FREE!

I charge £30.00 per hour for my services.

This is because I have in depth experience with personal statement writing as I have supported well over 30 students with their university applications in the past and have experienced a high degree of success doing so.
