About Alexia
As a recent graduate with a strong background in tutoring, event coordination, and customer service, I am excited to join Varsity and share my passion for education. My experience as an English Tutor for ENGin allowed me to develop effective communication and mentoring skills while helping students improve their English proficiency. I tailored lesson plans to make learning engaging and personalized.
During my time as the Event Coordinator for the Class of 2024 Council at Felix Varela Senior High School, I refined my organizational and leadership skills by managing events that brought the student community together. Working as a Barista at Yume LLC and a Sandwich Artist at Subway enhanced my customer service skills and attention to detail.
With a commitment to fostering academic growth and supporting students from diverse backgrounds, I am eager to connect with you in our learning journey. I am dedicated to creating a positive and encouraging environment that inspires curiosity and confidence. My lessons are for juniors and seniors in high school, focusing on college applications and standardized testing such as SAT and AP.
