About Hilda
I am a second year university student at the University of Ottawa. I have 3 years tutoring experience, tutored grades 1-12 in various subjects such as English, French, Social studies, Biology. I got my high school diploma with a french immersion mention and a High Skills Special Major program in health care.

My teaching methods are not all written. I do not believe in giving a lot of homework to my students. I teach in an interactive manner. First, I teach a lesson that you are struggling with precisely and make sure that you are understanding it along the way. Next, I will put 3-4 questions in front of you based on what I taught to make sure you have a solid understanding of it. Then, I will make you teach the lesson back to me. If you do not remember certain points, not a problem! I will re-teach that section. Finally, I will give you 5-10 homework questions to practice at home and once I see that you are understanding certain sections more I will stop giving you questions on that and focus on the points that you are not understanding.
