About Nicholas
I am an international concert pianist known for not only my performances across the globe but also my inspiring story. Having been born with only one hand, I defied expectations and went on to become an award-winning pianist, performing on prestigious stages around the world. I studied at Royal College of Music and quickly gained recognition for his extraordinary technique and musicality. In addition to my concert career, I am passionate about teaching and sharing my love of music. I have worked with students of all ages and skill levels, emphasising the importance of creativity, progress, and enjoyment in the learning process.

As an international concert pianist with over 20 years of experience, I believe learning the piano should be both fun and fulfilling. My teaching approach is designed to keep you motivated, helping you progress steadily while enjoying the process. My Approach: I combine solid technical training with a focus on musical expression and creativity. Each lesson is designed to build your skills, whether you're learning to play your favourite songs or tackling more complex pieces. My goal is to make sure every lesson is enjoyable while ensuring consistent progress, no matter your skill level. Lesson Structure: My lessons are tailored to your needs, with beginners often starting with 30 minute lessons, as the student progresses we may move onto to slightly longer lessons of 45 minutes with advanced players having 60-90 minutes. In each lesson we will balance practice, theory, and performance. We’ll go at a pace that suits you, so you feel challenged but never overwhelmed, making sure that every step forward is rewarding. Qualifications: As a graduate of the Royal College of Music in London and with over two decades of international performance experience I have a deep passion for teaching. I’ve helped students of all ages achieve their musical dreams. I’ve taught everyone from beginners to advanced pianists, and I bring a unique blend of technical expertise and performance experience to each lesson.

I have had lots of different piano teachers since I was 7, but I found I got bored easily so gave up quickly, however since learning with Nicholas I have found each lesson to be fun and interesting therefore I have stuck with what he has taught me and am now about to take my ABRSM Grade 6 Exam
My weekly Piano lesson with Nicholas is one of the highlights of my week, not only do I learn lots, but I enjoy the lesson immensely, I highly recommend his unique and fun teaching style
