For online lessons, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND students to use the online jaming software jamulus to connect with me because zoom audio sounds realllllly baddddd. It is much better to connect audio via jamulus and use zoom for visual connection only.

About the lesson

First of all I am very sorry to everyone who messaged in the past year... I missed those messages totally since I had not signed in to this site for so long and I did not have phone notifications for it neither. I will check more often for sure from now on...very sorry (edited 2021 Aug 31 )

Playing by ear is a fun and important musical skill to learn, especially if you want to improvise or create music on a more intuitive level. If you just want to pass the ABRSM exams I could also help you with that for sure.

I am here to help if you want to:
- learn how to play pop songs quickly with no prior experience required
- learn about music theories, sound theories and music tech history
- improvise and compose music with jazz harmonics within 2 lessons
- compose, arrange, record, mix & master music in Logic Pro/Garage band
- do well in ABRSM exams from grade 1-6 in a more creative and relaxing way

IM YOUR LAZY PIANO TEACHER KEN. I am definitely not your best classical piano teacher(whattttttt?). But I think I do have something to offer to my students who want effective results and have fun. I could be serious about classical techniques but I do not want to put my students on stressful training. I prefer to explain to them how they might practice to improve on certain things but it is up to my students to commit accordingly.

I have a way of teaching the laziest and most efficient way for beginners to get started on improvisation or playing by ear with chords in C major/ Aminor key. Yeah just use the white keys. So easy. And FUN! So even if you had no experience before, I will make sure you enjoy and could improvise on some pop songs or even simple jazzy songs in 2 lessons!
