About Luca
My teaching approach is built on flexibility, understanding, positivity, and integrity, ensuring each student learns piano in a way that suits their style and goals. I teach Piano, Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Reading, Improvisation, and Composition, providing a well-rounded musical education. I adapt lessons to each student, whether they aim to perform, pass exams, or enjoy playing for personal growth. Every lesson is tailored to balance skill development, creativity, and enjoyment, making learning both effective and inspiring. I focus on building strong fundamentals, including hand coordination, rhythm, tone, and technique, while introducing musical concepts gradually. Lessons include practical exercises, repertoire practice, and guided listening to help students understand music deeply. I encourage creativity through composition and improvisation, helping students express themselves and develop their unique musical voice. My method also emphasises connecting emotionally with music rather than simply memorising notes, fostering a deeper love for the instrument. I create a supportive and positive environment where learners feel confident experimenting and improving. My aim is to help every student achieve their full potential, gain confidence in their playing, and develop a lifelong appreciation for music across all aspects of learning Piano.

I am a dedicated Piano tutor with 5 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Over the years, I have successfully guided around 150 students, helping them develop strong technical skills, musical understanding, and a love for playing. My lessons are designed to be engaging, structured, and tailored to each student’s individual needs, ensuring steady progress while keeping learning enjoyable. My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, positivity, and understanding. I believe learning piano is not just about mastering notes but also about expressing emotions, building discipline, and gaining confidence. I combine performance practice with music theory, ear training, and composition exercises to help students understand music deeply and explore their creativity. I encourage improvisation and self-expression so that every student can discover their unique musical voice. Many of my students have achieved excellent results in school concerts, competitions, and graded exams. I take pride in seeing them perform confidently and grow as musicians. My goal is to provide a supportive and motivating environment where students not only improve their piano skills but also develop a lifelong appreciation and love for music.
