About Aviva

I’m a piano teacher with over 7 years of experience and an Advanced Diploma in Piano Performance. My passion is helping students connect deeply with music on an emotional level. I believe that music is not just about notes, but about expressing feelings and telling stories. Alongside nurturing this connection, I focus on building strong foundations in music theory and technique. Every lesson is tailored to each student’s needs, whether they are beginners or advanced players. I work closely with students to develop their skills step by step, making sure they understand the ‘why’ behind the music. Technique is important, but so is creativity and personal expression. I encourage my students to explore their unique voice through the piano. I also emphasise the importance of good practice habits and a positive mindset. Music should be enjoyable, and I strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment. Whether you want to perform, compose, or simply play for fun, I’m here to help you reach your goals. Together, we’ll unlock your musical potential and bring your music to life.

About the lesson
