About Jefferson
Graduating with a Master of Music in Music Performance from the Manhattan School of Music provided the technical foundation for my 4 years of experience. Music has been my life since childhood, though I admit that balancing performance rigor with simple enjoyment remains a daily challenge. My curriculum includes chord voicing, grade exam prep for ABRSM or Trinity, and classical repertoire.
I also teach pop and contemporary styles, sight reading, sight playing, and accompaniment skills. Proper posture and hand position are essential, and I emphasize hand independence to ensure students achieve a 10.0 proficiency standard.
