About Tamar

- What kind of experience do you have?

I have been teaching for over 15 years, and have gained much experience working in schools as part of a team and on my own as a private teacher. I have studied extensively with ABRSM to enhance my teaching skills and I am glad to say my students all pass with distinction

My students range from age 7 to adults of all ages and abilities.

About the lesson

I have over 15 years of experience in teaching piano to children and adults at all levels. I teach privately and in schools.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

I teach Piano, Music Theory, Sight Reading, Aural Skills and Improvisation in preparation for exams, or simply for fun, knowledge and creativity.

I am a fully qualified and experienced piano teacher having gained a Bachelors Diploma in Piano, CT ABRSM, Dip ABRSM

£40p/h at my home and online

- Where do you teach?

I am available to give lessons online, at my home or yours depending on distance.

I teach all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced

I prepare my students for ABRSM exams at all levels

I cater to the specific needs of my students and good communication is important to enable me to instruct them as effectively as possible. I can be flexible in my approach as some students want different results and some need different direction. I strive to expand my students' interests by making lessons varied and interesting.

For lessons at my home and online I charge £40 per hour. For five lessons booked in advance, I offer a discounted rate of £150.

Depending on distance, I can travel to addresses in north London for a travel supplement of £5.

I have a 24 cancellation policy.
