About Vanessa
My passion for piano education developed through years of study, performance, and teaching across diverse learning environments. I earned a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Music Education, focusing on technique, pedagogy, and musical interpretation. Over 11 years of experience, I have guided students toward confidence and clarity through patient, structured instruction. I believe strong teaching is rooted in listening, adaptability, and encouragement. Each student learns differently, and I adjust lessons to support individual strengths while addressing challenges carefully. My approach emphasizes understanding, consistency, and musical curiosity. Outside teaching, I continue studying repertoire, pedagogy, and performance practice. Teaching piano is fulfilling because I witness students grow in confidence, discipline, and expressive ability as they discover their own musical voice.
