Hi! I’m a piano teacher with over 9 years of experience and an Associate of Music in Piano Skills. I specialise in helping students develop the real-world skills needed for church worship leading, community theatre accompaniment, and performing in professional wedding bands. My lessons are always personalised to meet your goals, whether you're playing solo, supporting others, or preparing for live performance. I believe in building a strong musical foundation while also keeping things practical and motivating. We focus on chord reading, rhythm, ear training, and adapting to different musical settings. I also help students grow in confidence, stage presence, and musical sensitivity—key skills for collaborative work. My teaching style is flexible and supportive. I adapt to each student's learning pace and musical background. Whether you're just starting out or returning to the piano after a break, I’ll help you reconnect with your passion and move forward with purpose. I’ve had the joy of seeing students lead worship teams, perform confidently in musicals, and become dependable gig players. If you’re writing to process thoughts or connect deeply with listeners, I’ll help you find your musical voice. If you’re exploring jazz or improvisation, we’ll study form, rhythm, and harmonic movement in a way that builds freedom and fluency. My lessons include creative prompts, real-world examples, and guided composition practice. Whether you’ve written a hundred songs or you’re just getting started, I’m here to support your journey.
