About Gwen
I am a piano tutor with 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. I enjoy helping students build confidence while discovering the enjoyment that comes from learning music step by step.
My teaching style is encouraging, organized, and adapted to each learner's goals. I believe every student can achieve meaningful progress through consistent practice and supportive instruction.
Outside teaching, I enjoy composing piano pieces, accompanying singers, and exploring different musical styles. These experiences help me create fresh, enjoyable, and practical lessons for every student.

My piano lessons are designed to help students learn with confidence through enjoyable and organized practice. We study finger independence, rhythm training, note reading, scales, chords, pedal control, sight reading, dynamics, and expressive playing using engaging activities and carefully selected music. Every lesson builds both technical skill and musical confidence.
As learners improve, we explore duet playing, accompaniment patterns, improvisation, ear training, phrasing, performance preparation, and creative interpretation. I provide structured guidance and helpful feedback so students continue progressing while enjoying each new musical challenge.
My goal is to help students become expressive pianists who enjoy playing with confidence and accuracy. Every lesson develops creativity, strong technique, and a lifelong love for music.
