About Aimee
I am an experienced and passionate Piano tutor with 8 years of teaching and professional music experience. I teach piano to students from school to college level and focus on building a strong musical foundation in every learner.
Music education has always been close to my heart. One of the most important milestones in my career was understanding how music can support overall student development, including concentration, confidence, and emotional expression. This belief shapes my teaching philosophy.
My lessons focus on proper technique, rhythm, coordination, and music reading. I also help students understand the meaning behind the music so they can play with confidence and expression. I make sure lessons are simple, clear, and suited to each student’s level.
I have successfully guided many students from basic piano skills to advanced pieces, helping them prepare for school events, exams, and personal goals. Watching students grow into confident musicians is my biggest motivation.
My teaching approach is friendly, structured, and encouraging. I set clear goals and support students at every step of their learning journey. I believe regular practice and positive guidance lead to long-term success.

My teaching method is student-centred, focusing on building a strong foundation in piano skills while keeping lessons interactive and practical. I prioritise communication to ensure students always understand new concepts clearly. I tailor my lessons to each student’s learning style, whether they are beginners or advanced players.
I incorporate real-life examples and case studies, like performing short pieces from popular music, to connect theory with practice. This approach makes learning more relatable and keeps students motivated.
Alongside piano, I teach music reading, improvisation, rhythm exercises, and music appreciation, giving students tools to enjoy and understand music more deeply. My goal is to make piano learning both effective and fun, helping students grow into confident and creative musicians.
