About Wallace
With 5 years of experience in teaching and professional music work, I am a passionate Piano tutor who values meaningful education. I teach piano to school and college students and enjoy guiding them through every stage of learning.
One important milestone in my career was helping students prepare for performances and assessments. These experiences strengthened my ability to motivate and guide students confidently.
My lessons are simple, structured, and enjoyable. Students learn technique, rhythm, coordination, and musical expression step by step.

I approach piano teaching with a student-centred, adaptive, and creative methodology. I recognise that every student learns differently, so I tailor lessons to match their learning style—visual, auditory, or hands-on—ensuring every concept is understood fully. I focus on communication, breaking down techniques, rhythm, and music theory into clear, actionable steps that students can immediately apply in practice and performance.
To make lessons meaningful, I use real-life examples and case studies, such as analysing favourite songs, exploring classical compositions, or demonstrating music’s role in films and daily life. Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, ear training, improvisation, and composition, giving students a well-rounded musical foundation. My methodology encourages technical mastery, creative expression, performance confidence, and disciplined practice, helping students develop both skill and a lifelong love for music.
