About Richard
"Years spent performing on stage and in the studio define my current outlook. I earned my MMus Music Performance from Berklee College of Music and now maintain a full-time teaching practice. My focus includes jazz improvisation, memorization techniques, chord voicing, posture and hand position, ear training, classical repertoire, sight transposition, hand independence, rhythm and timing.
I work alongside parents to maintain a shared progress tracker monthly. I am a firm believer in building confidence through consistent results."

Lessons emphasize clear feedback on your technique and stylistic choices. We cover standard repertoire while keeping the sound professional. My MMus degree informs the deep structural understanding I pass on to you.
