About Jake
I am currently studying a Physics (with Philosophy minor) degree at Manchester University. I am 20yrs old and enjoy making tough problems easy and achievable in the simplest way possible.
Before university, I achieved A* in Maths and Physics at A Level and then spent one year as a teaching assistant for 6 months in a top London school.
My experience with teaching prior:
- Private tutoring for 13+ Maths
- Teaching assistant (Maths + all science)
- Teaching English as a foreign language in Cambodia

My teaching method can be geared towards exam preparation, or general help within the subject or coursework
I focus on improving exam paper scores by building confidence, mark scheme technique, and breaking down topics into simple and memorable parts with easy guideline advice to tackling every type of problem.
For more general lessons, we can go through homework or just provide a time to tackle the concepts behind challenging ideas, often in new ways to help understand things in a simpler way.
