About Mr JP

Hello! My name is JP and I am a passionate, results-driven Maths and Physics tutor. I have been a teacher at Dr Challoner's Grammar School for over a decade and I enjoy helping young people flourish and achieve their academic goals.

I bring a wealth of professional educational experience to my tutoring. I have previously served as Head of Key Stage 3 (KS3) at a local school, and I am currently proud to be part of a specialised team that trains future teachers. These leadership roles have given me a deep, behind-the-scenes understanding of exactly how the curriculum is designed, how students learn best, and precisely what examiners are looking for.

Over the years, I have built a strong reputation in the areas surrounding Amersham, for delivering high-quality, impactful tutoring that gets real results. I specialise in identifying a student's individual roadblocks and providing the exact tools and strategies they need to overcome them.

About the lesson

I have always been fascinated by how Maths and Physics explain the world around us. However, I also know firsthand how daunting these subjects can be when you are faced with complex formulae and high-pressure exams.

My goal is to demystify these subjects, turning anxiety into confidence and confusion into clarity.

Whether you are aiming to secure a passing grade at GCSE or striving for an A* at A-Level to get into your dream university, I am here to support you every step of the way.
