About Martina

Hello! My name is Martina, and I’m a Physics, Astrophysics, and Cosmology student at the University of Portsmouth, currently completing a Study Abroad Programme in Korea. I’m in my third year and have always been passionate about making learning an engaging and personalised experience. I’ve been tutoring since high school, helping students with subjects like Maths, Physics, Biology, Spanish, and English. Growing up in Catalonia, Spain, and experiencing various education systems across different countries has shaped my perspective on learning. I firmly believe that education shouldn’t follow a one-size-fits-all approach—everyone learns at their own pace and in their own way. My goal is to help students overcome challenges, build confidence, and truly understand the subject, rather than just memorising formulas. Beyond academics, I have a wide range of passions, from high-risk sports to cinematography and community event organising. This diverse background allows me to connect with students on a personal level and adapt my lessons to their interests, making learning both effective and enjoyable. About the lesson

Hello there! I’m a Physics, Astrophysics, and Cosmology student and I love making complex concepts easy to understand. Whether you’re struggling with the basics or aiming for top grades, I’ll adapt my teaching to suit your needs. I like to use an adapted and personalised teaching approach. I will adjust my methods to match your learning style. Whether that's with visual, logical, or hands-on material. I will make sure you truly understand rather than just memorise formulas. I will try to show how maths and physics connect to everyday life, tech, and even space! I don't want you to feel any stress or pressure. I'd like to give you a supportive learning experience. To come up with a Lesson Plan, we will go over your objectives and what subjects need to be tackled. I will give clear, step-by-step explanations of the topics. We will go through guided problem-solving and practice. During the lesson I will welcome all the questions that you might have, and we will try to solve them together. I will make lessons engaging and easy to follow. I have a wide range of interests which will help me relate concepts in unique ways so that you can easily understand any topic. My experience will help me guide you through tricky problems, revision techniques, and test strategies. These lessons can be taken by: GCSE & A-Level students needing extra support. First-year University students struggling with physics or maths courses. Anyone curious about physics, astrophysics, or problem-solving in general!
