About Somnath

Hello! This is Somnath Rath currently pursuing my B.Sc in Physics (3rd year) at Central University of Karnataka. I was passionate about studying the laws of nature since childhood which resulted me into taking Physics as the subject for higher education. My teaching approach would be based on a perfect understanding of the concepts rather than just memorizing the formulae which itself would build confidence for the students to solve numerical and case based problems independently.
Whether it is the boards, pre-boards or the general school examinations, I can assure you will be provided with a proper guidance with clear explanations of the concepts where every question asked will be a welcome in the session.
Subjects taught: Physics and General Science.
Classes: VIII–X (CBSE/ICSE)
Mode: Online Tuition.

About the lesson

My teaching is majorly centered around conceptual understanding of the subject instead of memorizing. I shall be encouraging the students to develop a higher order thinking skill while solving the questions or numerical problems.
My teaching methodology shall include:
1. Concept based learning.
2. Interactive sessions where the students will be able to properly engage with the subject they are learning.
3. Step by step problem solving where systematic methods would be taught to students for solving both numerical and case based questions with confidence.
4. Regular Practice: Problem sheets would be provided to the students immediately after a concept or a lesson is covered.
5. Periodic Assessment would be conducted for the students to ensure proper learning and also it would help in monitoring the progress in the students.
6. Personalized attention would also be given to students to adapt their learning pace, strength and areas of improvement.
7. It will be a proper exam oriented preparation which would focus on the conceptual clarity and effective exam strategies which would help students achieve their best.
My aim in the course would be to develop a logical understanding of the concepts and develop a proper skill to solve the numerical and theoretical questions based on it.
