About Suzan

Hi, I'm Suzan, a Physics PhD at King’s College London. I specialise in tutoring Physics, Maths, and Biology for A-level and GCSE students. My lessons combine clear content explanations with extensive past paper practice, ensuring you're well-prepared for your exams. I have been a dedicated private tutor for over two years, specialising in A-level and GCSE students. With over 270 lessons completed and more than 30 five-star ratings, I am committed to helping my students achieve their academic goals. My approach has consistently led to significant grade improvements, with students advancing from a 4 to an 8 or from a C to an A, and maintaining this performance in their final exams. My principle in tutoring is to make the subject as interesting as possible whilst explaining complex topics in a basic way. Students should not feel anxious when they think of a topic just because they did not understand it in school. I am here to help you with topics you struggle with and I assure you that even with one lesson you will see the difference and everything will start to make sense!

About the lesson

The best way to learn STEM subjects is to solve as many questions as possible. Therefore, in my lessons, I go through the content for the first half of the lesson and do past paper questions for the second half. I prepare for the lesson in advance so that I can deliver a productive lesson, therefore, please let me know about your exam board and the topics you would like to focus on beforehand. I am experienced in tutoring and as I did my A-Levels not long ago I can provide support from a student's perspective. Lessons are 1 hour long and for GCSE and A level students. I am available over the summer as well, preferably in the mornings.
