About Connor

I am an Honors Physics graduate with a passion for helping students build confidence in mathematics and physics. Throughout my degree, I developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills while conducting experimental research and working with complex scientific concepts. I understand that every student learns differently, so I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where questions are always welcome. My goal is to make challenging topics easier to understand, help students improve their grades, and give them the confidence to succeed both in the classroom and beyond.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed for high school students looking to improve their understanding of mathematics or physics, whether they need help keeping up in class, preparing for exams, or aiming for top grades. As an Honours Physics graduate with experimental research experience, I focus on helping students understand the concepts behind the formulas rather than simply memorizing procedures.

A typical lesson begins by identifying the topics the student finds most challenging. I then explain the concepts step by step, work through examples together, and provide guided practice until the student feels confident solving problems independently. I encourage questions throughout the lesson and adapt my teaching style to match each student's pace and learning preferences.

What sets me apart is my ability to break down complex ideas into simple, understandable explanations while connecting them to real-world examples. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically but also to build their confidence and problem-solving skills so they can tackle new challenges on their own.
