About Marco
I’m Marco, a software engineer and physicist with a Master’s degree in Quantum Information from Sapienza University of Rome. I spent over six years working professionally as a backend developer, mainly in Java and Groovy, building and maintaining enterprise-grade systems. I now work as a Research Assistant at the University of Cambridge, applying software and data analysis skills to neuroscience and medical research.
I have solid experience in Java, Go, Python, and C — languages I’ve used in both academic and professional contexts. I’m especially passionate about clean code, software craftsmanship, and helping others develop a deeper understanding of programming beyond just syntax. I’ll give you tailored challenges at the end of each lesson to reinforce key concepts and prepare you for the next session.
