About Robert

I love getting a rapport with students and finding out what their goals are. Mathematics, unfortunately, can be a rather dry subject. I like to understand their real thoughts about it. I also like to work with them on why they might need it in future (or current) life and why a basic understanding is incredibly useful for day to day living.

About the lesson

I very much approach this from a student needs point of view. What are their thoughts on the subject? Is it just a 'boost', a way to get through exams, or to understand the subject fully? What are their needs, is there an aspect of the subject they like? etc.

I have worked as a Qualified teacher in maths and am familiar with the curriculum and exam questions.

If you are an adult looking for a refresher for any reason I am also very happy working with you to explore what you are after.

I have also studied Physics as it was my major so can assist in this although I am not fully cognisant with the current GCSE curriculum.
