I am a Ph.D. physicist and a researcher at the University of Washington, with extensive experience in both academic research and teaching. My background allows me to explain complex ideas in a clear, structured, and intuitive way, while adapting each lesson to the student’s level and learning style.

I approach tutoring with a high level of professionalism and responsibility. Lessons are well prepared, punctual, and goal-oriented. I take time to understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and objectives, and I communicate clearly with students (and parents, when appropriate) about progress and expectations.

Having worked with students from elementary school through high school, I understand that every learner is different. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence at their own pace.

About the lesson

I believe motivation is the foundation of effective learning. Students learn best when they understand why something matters and when they can see themselves making progress toward a concrete goal. A typical lesson includes:

3. Concept explanation with visual aids, examples, or analogies
4. Active practice, where the student solves problems with guidance and feedback
5. Reflection and summary, reinforcing key ideas and identifying next steps
