About James
Tutoring is a way for me to pass on some of the excellent teaching I received on my educational journey. I also like to pass on the skills in self-learning that were necessary to cover subjects where the teaching on offer was weaker, or I need to approach things in my own way.

We'll start with a session to decide how you want to learn and what your goals are. This will allow us to build a plan so you can get the results that matter to you.
Lessons are typically 50 minutes. I have tutored GCSE students of all abilities, and run maths classes for undergraduate scientists, so I am happy working with a wide range of students.
Exam technique is also a key skill for many students that I will work with you to develop.
For students considering higher education, I can also provide interview coaching.
