About Alex
I have been tutoring in Maths since 2016, Spanish since 2019, and other sciences since fall of 2019. I am currently studying to be a science teacher for High School levels and I have worked with dozens of different students to help them understand subjects in the way that works best for them!

My teaching method is based on each individual I work with. For group classes, I try to cover the most important topics as well as the topics that are most commonly confused in more depth. With individual lessons, I work with the 10/30/60 rule of 10% instruction, 30% individual practice, and 60% guided practice. This is the best way to make sure a student does not fall into a bad habit, correct the confusion behind a mistake so that the student can do it right next time, and make learning fun!
