About Ryan
I have taught Philosophy and essay writing at a university level for over ten years, and have a graduate degree in philosophy from Princeton University. In addition, I have tutored high school students for the past three years, and worked as a professional copywriter and copyeditor on several boo length projects.

My lessons are tailored to fit your academic interests and goals over the course of a semester. Ideally, a proactive lesson plan is developed to cover materials studied in a particular class. I then work through your assigned texts with you, helping you to develop successful habits as a reader that will leave you with many things to write about in essays and exams. I will then help you develop your insights and ideas into excellent written work, going through your drafts to ensure that you are expressing your thoughts as clearly and concisely as possible.
