About Hasan
I'm a Mathematics Lecturer and Head of Department with 9+ years of university teaching experience. My M.Phil research was specifically in elliptic curve cryptography (generalized signcryption schemes), and I hold an M.Sc in Mathematics as well. I also placed in the top 12% globally in the 2026 AI Mathematical Olympiad and run PlotLab, an animated mathematics channel with 45,000+ followers — I like showing the visual intuition behind abstract math, not just the proofs.

I teach the mathematics behind modern cryptography — number theory, the elliptic curve discrete logarithm problem, RSA, digital signatures, and applied cryptographic protocols. This is drawn directly from my own M.Phil research, so I can explain not just how these schemes work but why they're built the way they are. Ideal for students taking a cryptography or security course, or anyone doing research in the field. First lesson is free.
