About Gomi

As a Spanish tutor with 15 years of experience, I am passionate about helping High School and College students develop strong language skills through personalised and engaging instruction. I understand that each student has different learning preferences and academic goals, so I carefully adapt my teaching methods to meet their individual needs. My focus is on creating lessons that are practical, motivating, and easy to understand.

I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, writing, and conversational Spanish using a balanced combination of structured lessons and interactive activities. Instead of memorising rules alone, students learn how to apply Spanish in real-life situations through discussions, role-playing, and practical examples. This approach helps students retain knowledge more effectively and gain confidence in using the language naturally.

One of my greatest strengths is building positive relationships with students. I believe trust and encouragement are essential for successful learning. I provide regular feedback, celebrate progress, and help students overcome challenges with patience and understanding. My lessons are always designed to keep students motivated while steadily improving their language abilities.

I also introduce cultural aspects of Spanish-speaking countries to make learning more meaningful and enjoyable. Understanding culture allows students to appreciate the language beyond textbooks and communicate with greater confidence and awareness.

My commitment to personalised learning means every student receives lessons tailored to their abilities, interests, and future goals. Whether they are preparing for school examinations, college courses, or simply improving their communication skills, I provide dedicated support throughout their learning journey.

My objective is to help students become confident, independent learners who enjoy using Spanish in both academic and everyday situations.

About the lesson

My Spanish teaching methodology focuses on motivation, communication, creativity, and time management to create an effective and enjoyable learning experience. I motivate students by understanding their individual goals, providing encouragement, and celebrating their achievements to boost confidence.

Communication is central to my teaching—I focus on developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, and I use real-life examples and practical exercises to help students use Spanish naturally. Creativity is another important aspect; I include storytelling, role-plays, interactive games, and visual exercises to make lessons engaging and memorable.

Time management is a key part of my approach, so each lesson is well-structured to balance grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation practice while keeping students comfortable and motivated. I also provide guidance on self-study and efficient practice techniques.

In addition to Spanish, I can teach related subjects such as grammar basics, pronunciation skills, and communication strategies. My aim is to make learning Spanish simple, enjoyable, and effective, helping students build confidence and fluency over time.
