About Mattia
I am a PhD student in molecular biology at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory. I currently live in Heidelberg, Germany. I graduated in Molecular Biotechnology at the University of Turin and I did an Erasmus internship in Paris. Currently I deal with bioinformatics and genomic analysis. I use mathematical methods for the analysis of biological data. The working language is English. I gave numerous private lessons to high school students throughout my university career. I have also helped some university students with biochemistry and computer science exams.

The teaching method will be adapted according to the needs of the student and the subject. For mathematics and physics, the repetitions will consist of exercises done together with the student. Subsequently the student will be asked to perform exercises individually. The exercises will then be corrected together. For biology and chemistry, the lessons will require a discussion of the topics covered at school and will take place in the form of an interactive lecture.
