About Ronaldo

Currently, I am a PhD student in Medical Physiology at Stellenbosch University, with a background in Biology, Physiology, Biotechnology and Biochemistry. Essentially, I am a diligent and reliable individual with skills and experience in tutoring/mentoring which I have acquired during my time as an undergraduate and postgraduate student. I am driven towards acquiring knowledge and sharing it with anyone interested. Inherently, I am keen on acquiring knowledge that can improve me as a person and share that knowledge with those around me.

About the lesson

English is the language of communication in my lessons. I employ various learning methods depending on the subject or module. For instance, in Mathematics I utilise a writing tablet where I write out and explain problems to provide a more interactive approach. I also use past exam papers including links to videos that will be beneficial to the student.
I am geared towards emphasizing the importance of understanding the fundamental principles of a concept or topic, rather than relying solely on memorization or rote learning.
