About Christopher
I have an MA in European history and I am currently pursuing a PhD. I have much experience as a tutor, library assistant, and a History Help Center employee. While working as a tutor, I was primarily engaged with helping younger undergraduates who had not developed the basic skills necessary to succeed in college. I came to recognize that help in developing these skills was often all that these students needed to gain a rich educational experience.

I aim to present information to students in an engaging way, taking into consideration the many different learning styles that people have. I hope to foster critical reading and discussion of the subject matter, critical thinking being the most important skill one can learn in school. I will tailor lesson plans to each individual student to help meet their needs.
