About NEELIMA

I am a committed and reliable tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for teaching. Currently undertaking a PhD in Infection Biology, I also hold both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Biology, giving me a deep and well-rounded understanding of the subject. Over the years, I have gained experience tutoring students at different levels and writing educational blogs that simplify complex scientific ideas. These experiences have refined my ability to communicate clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and create a positive and supportive learning environment. My priority is to ensure that every student feels confident, well-prepared, and supported throughout their studies. Students can be assured that I am dedicated to helping them achieve their goals.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is highly student-focused. I begin by understanding the learner’s current level, goals, and preferred learning style. I use a combination of clear explanations, structured notes, and visual aids (such as diagrams and flowcharts) to break down complex biological concepts into manageable steps. Lesson structure & duration: A typical lesson is 60 minutes, with flexibility to extend if needed. I usually start with a short recap of previous material, followed by focused teaching on the new topic, and finish with practice questions or a summary to reinforce understanding. Qualifications & experience: I am currently pursuing a PhD in Infection Biology and hold both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Alongside my academic journey, I’ve tutored students in biology at school and university levels and have written educational blogs designed to make science engaging and accessible. Who my lessons are for: I teach biology at GCSE, A-level, and undergraduate level. My lessons are suitable for students who need support with exams, coursework, or simply want to deepen their understanding of biology.
