About Marcus
I am a current MD/PhD student with a focus in microbiology & immunology. I have been tutoring students and my peers for the past 5 years. In addition, I write for various science-oriented sites aimed at explaining science concepts in a simpler way and apply those same skills to my teaching methodology.

I typically ask a student what they hope to get out of the session. From there we focus on those goals primarily, whether its one or multiple concepts. I don't like to spend time on the things you already understand, but I will build upon that existing knowledge to help make the more complicated concepts simpler. I can teach students from Kindergarten all the way to graduate school.
