About Alex

I am a PhD student at the University of Cambridge, currently completing my dissertation on the history of the American far right remotely. I graduated with top thesis and top overall mark in my BA at the University of Melbourne. I’m based in inner Melbourne, and can meet in person or talk via Zoom etc. My academic website is: (concealed information) I won the best emerging arts writer from Art Monthly magazine, and have written for Broadsheet, the Guardian, and Overland magazine as well.

About the lesson

I will guide you through the process of writing, structuring and editing non-fiction prose, particularly in an academic (year 12 to PhD level) context. Lessons are flexible and can be anything from one-off advice, to substantial feedback on any type of non-fiction. I have written both for popular audiences and in top academic journals.
