About Irina
I am a PhD student at University of California. I have a master's degree in ecology and a bachelor's degree in biology. During my education I studied Math, Biology, Genetics, Chemistry and Cell Biology. I have been tutoring for many years. I have taught dozens of students of different ages and diverse background.

First of all, my main concern is that the student feel comfortable and trust me. By doing that I can be sure that the student will ask me any question and tell me if she/he is not understand something.
I usually use different teaching approaches: discussions, games, slides, exercises.
I do believe that everyone is capable to learn everything and that education shouldn't be stressful. I will do my best to keep students engaged and to create a pleasant learning environment.
