About Kevin
I am a current MD-PhD student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis where I double majored in biomedical engineering and biochemistry and triple minored in computer science, electrical engineering, and bioinformatics. I am fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Finnish, and am happy to provide tutoring in any of these languages.
I have over 1,000 hours of tutoring experience ranging from in-person, online, one-on-one, and small groups. I have successfully worked with students for individual classes, test preparation (MCAT, ACT, SAT), and admissions (MD-PhD programs, Medical School, College).
I am confident that my experiences will be able to address your needs, and I look forward to working with you.

I aim to individualize my lessons and teaching style to best suit my students. Every student has their own needs and goals, so my lessons can take a variety of forms. Some lessons may focus on homework where I aim to teach and guide my student, so that they can solve their homework questions on their own and even teach it back to me. Other lessons may be focused on preparing for upcoming exams where we set timelines and goals and go over specific topics. Additionally, I may create practice questions to help test what we went over to ensure that my students are grasping these concepts.
