About Priya
I have an educational background in English Language and Literature (post-graduate level), Comparative Literature (MPhil level) and Media Studies (PhD Level). I also have years of professional experience being part of academic publishing and teaching of all curriculums including IBdp and CIE. I also have experience training students for competitive exams like GRE, IELTS and TOEFL.

My teaching philosophy is one that is student-oriented that encourages students to transform the classroom dynamics into one that permits a healthy dialogue between the students and the teacher. Having been a student who was involved in various co-curricular activities at the school, college and university level, and active in the political struggle, strongly feel that the learning is a continuous process that should extend beyond the four walls of the classroom, and that the role of the teachers is just to be facilitators.
