About Hansani

I am currently completing a PhD in Food Microbiology and have over four years of university teaching and laboratory instruction experience across Sri Lanka and South Korea.

My teaching experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Ruhuna (Sri Lanka) and Jeonbuk National University (South Korea), where I guided students through laboratory practicals, explained scientific concepts, assisted with coursework, and supported students in developing hands-on research skills.

In addition, I worked as a Research Assistant in Aquatic Biomedicine and Swine Disease Laboratories at Jeonbuk National University, collaborating on multidisciplinary research projects, experimental design, data collection, and scientific analysis. This research background allows me to connect theoretical concepts with real-world scientific applications.

About the lesson

Teaching Methodology

I begin by identifying a student's current understanding and learning objectives. Lessons focus on building strong foundational knowledge before progressing to more advanced concepts. I use clear explanations, visual examples, diagrams, practice questions, and real-world applications to make complex concepts easier to understand.

For university students, I can also provide guidance on:

Scientific writing and report preparation
Research methods and experimental design
Literature review reading and interpretation
Data analysis and presentation
Thesis and dissertation support

Typical Lesson Length

Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although longer sessions (90–120 minutes) can be arranged for assignment support, exam preparation, or research-related guidance.
